What an automated scan can’t tell you
The scan shows symptoms on a single page. It can’t replace a review that connects the data to what the site is for.
- It does not crawl the whole site or check backlinks or Google rankings.
- It does not certify WCAG compliance — some issues only show up with keyboard and screen reader testing.
- Lighthouse scores vary between runs because they depend on the server, network and third-party scripts.
- URL parameters (everything after ?) are removed before scanning.
Need the full picture?
In an SEO audit I review the whole site by hand and order fixes by impact and cost. If the scan result is unclear, get in touch and I’ll explain what is actually urgent.
Frequently asked questions
Is the audit free?
Yes. No email or account needed — the full result appears right on this page.
Why does the score change when I run it again?
Lighthouse simulates a phone on an average connection, and server response time, load and third-party scripts change minute to minute. A difference of a few points is normal. The same URL checked again within 24 hours may show the earlier stored result.
Does a score of 100 mean good SEO and an accessible site?
No. A high score means the automated tests found no problems. Visibility also depends on content, competition and the structure of the whole site, and accessibility on things like keyboard and screen reader support.
What happens to the URL I enter?
The URL is sent to Google PageSpeed for testing and recorded in the tool’s usage log with the time, page language, country as determined by the hosting provider, and the scan results. Your IP address is not recorded. Results may stay in the server cache for up to 24 hours and log entries are kept for up to 12 months. Details are in the privacy policy.
How many pages can I check?
Up to 5 scans in 10 minutes. The limit protects the tool from abuse; after that you can keep checking.
