Process: From first conversation to final detail.

We start with a short call or a message through the form. I need the current site address if there is one, the goal or problem, the key deadline and why it matters, the materials you have, and who makes decisions.

You do not need a finished specification. If the scope is unclear, we begin with a consultation that sorts it out.

I propose the order of work, the outcome of each stage and acceptance criteria. The estimate describes the outcome, scope, assumptions and exclusions, so important items do not come back later as extras.

Risks such as missing copy, an integration with an unfamiliar system or a data migration are discussed before the start, not halfway through.

I write the site as a custom theme, without page builders, and share it in stages on a test version. Feedback stays tied to a specific stage before later work starts to depend on it.

Alongside that I set up content editing in the CMS, so after launch changing a sentence or a photo does not need a developer.

Before launch I check forms and the checkout path, layout on phone and desktop, keyboard use, Lighthouse performance, titles, descriptions, redirects and error messages. Stores also go through my pre-launch checklist.

Release has a plan and a way back. When an existing site is replaced, I map redirects from the old addresses so traffic from Google is not lost.

You receive a working site, an editing guide, organised materials and a list of access details. We agree who is responsible for updates, backups and monitoring.

We can move to ongoing maintenance or handle further work as separate jobs. That is how I work with Lower Street, Brands in Audio and Burda Media Polska, among others.
